Runner Profile: Anna VanWechel

Anna VanWechel is a senior at MSUM from Fergus Falls.  At Fergus Falls High School, she was the school record holder for the 4x800m and 1500m.  At MSUM, she has completed her eligibility in cross-country and is competing this year in indoor and outdoor track.

For the one mile, she holds the MSUM Indoor School Record with a time of 4:55.30.  She is the third female in MSUM history to earn All-NSIC honors in Cross Country on four occasions.  She is also an academic all-American.

Last week she was job shadowing in the Physical Therapy Department at Lake Region Healthcare.  She is contemplating graduate school for physical therapy.
